Tixie Makes Final Cut in Billboard's Innovators Showcase


PORTLAND, Ore., November 21, 2012 – Tixie was one of five startups to make the final round at the Billboard Future Sound Innovators Showcase in San Francisco. Selected for the application of gameplay dynamics to increase tickets sales and attendance for live music events, Tixie continues to gain recognition as an industry solution for artists, promoters, and venues. 

In less than a year Tixie has built significant momentum in key markets, established partnerships with five major promoters and numerous venues, expanded to six markets, and engaged 20,000 fans  to play for 1,600 contests. Most recently Tixie was announced as a select partner in the launch of BandPage Connect which added artists to their now complete roster of industry customers.

The five finalists were chosen from 67 nominees that span the music industry and their unique solutions for improving ticket sales, music discovery, how to share music, and online sales for artists.
